Devil & end times
Question 49
Are music and TV programming us?

Two hosts on the channel UConspiracyClips think so. In “Hidden Messages in Pop Music & MKUltra Through Your TV” they lay out a theory: radio plays the same handful of songs on repeat, the catchy part of each song is a message, and TV and the news are used to train how people think and react. Whatever you make of the details, the Bible is clear that what you take in through your eyes and ears shapes you, and it tells you to guard both.
Their theory about the radio
One host says every big radio station in the UK is owned by the same people and runs the same ads and the same top 20 songs all day. He listens to decode it, not because he enjoys it.
His idea is that most chart songs are written so you only catch the chorus, and the rest fades into background noise. He calls it “kind of like Lucifer singing to you half the time”, and says the catchy chorus is a message for the initiated in secret societies. His example is a pop song whose hook is “training season is over”, which he hears as a signal to people listening for it. In his words: “Art is magic to these people... So there’s a spell here”.
Quick cuts and programming
The other host says music videos and shows use flashing and quick transitions for two reasons: to plant messages, and because attention spans are gone. He’s noticed sitcoms cutting to a new angle every couple of seconds just to keep your eyes on the screen. They call it neurolinguistic and predictive programming.
MKUltra
They bring up MKUltra, which they place in the ’60s and ’70s, after Operation Paperclip brought Nazi scientists to America. Their summary: the goal was mind control and the method was trauma, splitting a person into “alters” that can be switched with a trigger word. They say it was public record, people signed up for money, and Clinton apologized for the experiments in the ’90s.
Their bigger claim is that it never really ended. They figured out how it works and moved it to television. The news cycle traumatizes millions of people a day, and shows teach people a script for how to act when a crisis hits. Their example is a zombie movie: everyone “knows” people will turn on each other for resources, when they could just as easily come together, share and build community. Waking up, they say, is deprogramming, getting the trauma out of you.
What the Bible says
Guard what goes in. “I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes” (Psalm 101:3). “The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light. But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness” (Matthew 6:22-23). “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23).
The world has a pull, and it isn’t neutral. Paul says people once walked “according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air” (Ephesians 2:2). “All that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father” (1 John 2:16).
Your mind can be renewed. “Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2). “Casting down imaginations... and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ” (2 Corinthians 10:5).
Fear isn’t from God. If the news is built to keep people afraid, “God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7).
Real waking up is Jesus. “Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free” (John 8:32).
Fill it with something better. “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord” (Ephesians 5:19). “Whatsoever things are true... whatsoever things are pure... think on these things” (Philippians 4:8).

Say it like this
“You don’t have to buy every theory to see it. The same songs play all day, the news keeps people scared, and shows teach you how to react before anything happens. The Bible already told us to guard our eyes and our hearts, and that the mind gets renewed by God, not by whatever’s on. God didn’t give us a spirit of fear. Turn it off sometimes, and fill the quiet with Him.”
