“We are all God in different bodies. You are God.”

Here’s the claim: “We are all God in different bodies. We are God. We are just consciousness itself split into different bodies. Everyone is you in another body. You are God.”

Short answer: it’s a drug-fueled delusion and a satanic lie from Lucifer. It’s the first lie Satan told Eve in the Garden. The serpent was the most subtle there ever was, and Satan transforms himself into an angel of light to trick you.

It’s the oldest lie there is

“Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made” (Genesis 3:1). And here’s what he sold Eve: “Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil” (Genesis 3:4-5).

That was Lucifer’s own dream before it was ever his pitch to us: “I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High” (Isaiah 14:14). “You are God” is that same lie, handed down to you. Paul warned about it: “I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ” (2 Corinthians 11:3).

There’s one God, and you’re not Him

God says it plainly. “I am the LORD, and there is none else, there is no God beside me” (Isaiah 45:5). “Before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me” (Isaiah 43:10). “God is not a man” (Numbers 23:19).

When the king of Tyre said “I am a God,” God answered him: “yet thou art a man, and not God” (Ezekiel 28:2). When the crowd shouted that Herod had “the voice of a god, and not of a man,” he “was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost” because “he gave not God the glory” (Acts 12:22-23).

You’re not everyone else in another body

God made you in His image: “So God created man in his own image” (Genesis 1:27). An image isn’t the original. And each person is their own person before God: “every one of us shall give account of himself to God” (Romans 14:12). “It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” (Hebrews 9:27). If we were all one consciousness, there’d be nobody to give account, and nobody to give it to.

Romans 1 describes exactly where this goes. People “changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator” (Romans 1:25).

A drug-fueled delusion

A lot of people come back from a trip saying “we’re all one, I am God.” The Bible already has a word for that. “Witchcraft” in Galatians 5:20 is the Greek pharmakeia (G5331), the word “pharmacy” comes from. It’s the same word in Revelation 18:23: “for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.”

It feels like light and love. That’s the point. “Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light” (2 Corinthians 11:14). So “believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world” (1 John 4:1).

New Age is repackaged Luciferianism

New Age spirituality is repackaged Luciferianism and Satanism. It pulls from Kabbalah mysticism, the Kathara Grid, and secret societies like Freemasonry and the Illuminati, and I see Freemasonry as Satanic Luciferianism. The names change. The lie stays the same: you can be God. God called all of it out a long time ago: divination, enchanters, witches, “a consulter with familiar spirits... For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD” (Deuteronomy 18:10-12).

“But the Bible says ‘ye are gods’”

People pull this from Psalm 82:6. Read the next verse: “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men” (Psalm 82:6-7). God is talking to human judges who were about to die. Jesus quoted it in John 10:34-36 to show they were called “gods” because “the word of God came” to them, and then He said who He is: “I am the Son of God.” He never told anyone they were God.

“The kingdom of God is within you”

Jesus said that to the Pharisees, men who didn’t believe in Him (Luke 17:20-21). He wasn’t telling them they were God. The King was standing right there in front of them, and they missed Him.

Say it like this

“That’s the first lie in the Bible. The serpent told Eve, ‘ye shall be as gods.’ It was Lucifer’s own goal: ‘I will be like the most High.’ God says there’s no God beside Him, and every one of us will give account of himself to Him. You’re made in His image. You’re not Him. And that’s good news, because you don’t have to be God. You get to know Him.”
